latest from T10 on the multiplayer matchmaking "issues"

As you can read in their new FAQ ( http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/faq.htm):
We’ve been reading reports of players having difficulties connecting to opponents in the multiplayer matchmaking system. We have determined that users who are experiencing these connection problems most likely have moderate or strict NAT settings preventing them from connecting with other players over Xbox LIVE.

i had these issues with FM2, this was using a bt homehub, usually a reset of the router would sort it if anyone does have that issue!

had loads of problems last night. would only let 3 of us join a lobby no matter how many times we reset our routers etc. quite annoying!

This is why all games would benefit from dedicated servers.

We had an issue last night where 2 of my friends couln't get in the lobby together (already 6 of us in there and running fine) ??

Both managed to join individually without the other one in there, but as soon as one was in, the other got a NAT settings message and they were dropped ??

Even set up a new lobby and tried to get them in first.

Somehow they are conflicting with each other ??

Setting up of ports on your router for Xbox live normally sorts these issues.
