AUDI Motorsport 3?

Apologies if this has been done already; I'm an impatient man and have not the time to search endless posts on the matter.

So, am I alone in this? Has anyone else come to the conclusion that Audi did slip Turn 10 a cheeky tenner (or multiples thereof) to ensure that all its cars were the quickest in the leaderboard rankings?

Moreover, I am slightly vexed that despite my best endeavours to bring home a nicely tuned A600 GT3 RS to the top of the Nordschleif leaderboards, my quest has been thwarted by a twin turbo, 4WD 911 masquerading as a GT3 RS.

What on earth is going on here?

tbh i've not touched ANY Audi in the game yet..not even the R8 I won

they dont apeal to me at all. always something better/lighter/faster to play with

I like beating R8s in A-class in my stradale...or Z06 or 997 GT2

I've got to agree, I did an online race over the weekend in my pretty decent A600 Ford GT and got destroyed by two Audi A600 S5s. Am I also alone in thinking the Saleen S7 seems even more potent in FM3 than it did in FM2?

Look at all the "promotional" videos, development videos, adverts etc. They almost always had the Audi in it.

I bet they paid serious cash. Todays youth are tomorrows customers and all that

I would agree with the OP. The series of races where the Audi and BMW M cars compete have the RS4 lapping quicker than the E92 M3.

Mmmmmm due to lack of funding I haven't touched any Audis yet, knowing some of the rockets I produced in FM2, this could be fun

For me this has spoiled a great game the weight gains are not being calculated into the rating system. A 4wd GT3RS with the extra weight should not be as quick as a comparably tuned GT3RS. What a complete c*ck up.

I'm currently in the top 3 on the ring in my Cayman AWD. Can I get a RWD Cayman anywhere near it, can I b*llox.

It's the same in class C and B also. AWD cars are dominating the game.

ok ok it has no restrictors(for 630hp , well short of the diesels) and new wheels but it is still a P2 car with P2 aero

forza 2 was dominated by FWD cars iirc...remember how people cried everytime someone entered a B-Class lobby with a mugen integra or a sentra

....nice to have a change imho

Yes B class was largely dominated by FWD cars on the tight twisty tracks, but very light RWD cars were able to get better times. However, on the faster tracks like the Ring or Road America/ Atlanta RWD and AWD was a better option.

In A class FWD was a no go for obvious reasons.

This was far more realistic than what we currently have. AWD overweight Audi's and Nissan's with the Roll bars tweaked. I hope Turn 10 can change the PI system.

I didn't say I was any good either I think my best time is around 8 minutes.

I'll probably do the 10 lap endurance race in the next couple of days, that'll shave 80 minutes off my life.

would this be the correct thread to ask if anyone else finds that a lot of high powered RWD machines don't slide easy enough? I had to whack up the rear tyre pressures on my GT2 to get it to give me massive oversteer on the exit of corners?

I've been avoiding the Audis because they're a bit understeery for my liking.

If your rolling around the ring in anything over 8 mins you aren't very good!! Class B and above.

GT2 doesn't slide so well because it has a huge wing on the back and all the weight is back there. You need to change the spring rates and ARBs to compensate.

Hmmm, I think the physics are just better compared to FM2. I for one find the lack lairyness a bonus and would attirbute your grip over slip scenario to the rearward weight bias of the GT2.

If for example you take a Toyota Trueno and stick a 500bhp turbo lump in it, you won't be complaining about the lack of oversteer
