Another FM3 Thread - sorry

Hi all

So the time has come, i got my Xbox this evening, got straight onto FM3......

Its great but, i have never come across a racing game where the hardest dificulty (spelling) is to hard. Whats going on? What setting does everybody else use? I am using the middle setting, ohh the shame!

Hard, all assists off apart from abs. You need to have a car at the top end of each class and know the track...

I do not have any assists apart from ABS either, as a Ford fanboi i started game with Zetec S but just cant do hard setting

The first couple of races are impossible to win on hard - You start from 8th and there isn't long enough to get to first.

By the time you are hitting the R class races, hard AI is good fun if you resist the urge to remove the restrictors from your car - best bit of the single player racing IMO.

I'm in the same boat as you Nicky, picked it up today. Just ram them out of the way, seems to work for me

I picked the Daewoo/Chevrolet for sts and giggles, it is the worst car in the came (actually is, I only found out afterwards ofcourse). The only way to win the first races is to bully your way through and ram the hell out of anyone in your way!

I think it is quite refreshing actually - most driving games are crap for a quick race as I usually end up lapping them... in 4 laps, with the top difficulty.

I'm having to work at this one.

Hard Difficulty, all assists off.

Generally perform upgrades on cars as and when they level up and recieve the discounts. That way it's a challenge and it saves money.

Im not usualy a fan of smashing people out of the way but i must admit i am finding myself giving some cars a bit of encouragement (spelling) of the track.......

I use 100% difficulty and you certainly need to pick your car and the upgrades in it for each track.
