A better ping...

How?

I have run 4 tests on ping test. I got

D
B

Now, how the hell am I meant to work out what type of ping I have when I got four different results?!?!?

How do I improve the ping so my online gaming isn't so laggy?

A ping test result should be in a numerical format, like 50ms (milliseconds). I don't know what the letters are all about.

Like the poster above I have no idea what those letters represent but if you are having issues with online gaming move to a wired connection over wireless and ask your ISP if they will turn interleaving off for you.

This can help your ping by about 20-40ms.

The letters are from Ping Test (as in the things shown in the link).

I have it the router on cable to the PS3 now... It makes a right mess in the lounge though.... I will ask BT about interleave though !

ETA - Oh, the numbers as well:

Ping 34ms, jitters 5, unable to test packet loss...
