PS3 USB headsets?

I found a thread regarding headsets for PS3's a few weeks back bug can't find it again as the search engine is broken and the replacement google one doesn't deliver....

So, what do people recommend? I would prefer not to bother with Blue Tooth. While playing COD, some sound rubbish and others fine. I have a group of mates in the States that are big into chatter, while they are playing. Well trash talking mainly!

Most seem to work reasonably well. I've got a cheapo Sony Ericsson and it works fine.

But that would be Blue Tooth?

From what I have seen the batteries don't last all that long. And I don't like the fact I have a radio transmitter by the side of my head. The old mobile phones (early GSM) used to give me headaches, so never been a fan of RF beside my skull when I can avoid it since.

I have the official sony PS3 one from amazon. It works well, the battery lasts a good 4-5 hours (though I've only used it that long once, it hurts my ears!), and it has a MUTE button..... People tend to be able to hear me speaking clearly enough, and I am not talking loudly.
