If I get Fallout 3 GOTY

Will I lose my saved games already from the original version?

It sounds like a stupid question and logic tells me it will simply load the disk but I just fear it may decide it needs to install or update and that the version of the GOTY will then not recognise my saves from my "normal" version"..

I think it's just a cover...

It will probably have 2 disks, one being the play disk just like original, the other the installer of DLC.
Was like that for Oblivion GOTY so would expect the same.

Im waiting til one of my mates gets the GOTY so I can borrow the installer disk for the 2 DLCs I didnt get for the 360

Ah, that is interesting.

I do already have (and completed within about 2 hours, which p***ed me off) Op Anchorage installed but what you appear to be saying is that I can just download the extra DLCs onto the PS3 from the second disk - that will be ideal....
