Top indie games on Xbox 360

I dabbled in the "Indie" games section of Xbox Live Arcade last night for the first time. My expectations were pretty low (some of the logos were distinctly MS paint quality) but there are some gems in there - and for only two quid!

The best i have found is Pixel Cat, a platformer in the style of Super Mario Land. I love the faux 8-bit art style, the quirky humour, but best of all is the character control - the weighting of your jumps feels just like an early Mario game.




Very impressed with the tiny team who made this - i had more fun with it than most of the full price games I bought last year.

Splosion Man is awesome!

Bought the full version and had such a giggle playing it!

I've bought a bunch - of these, the Miner Dig Deep was the best and CarneyVale Showtime was fun for a while too. Worth buying Kodu if you are a frustrated games designer.

I've played N, Castle Crashers and Splosion Man with 3 mates and it was a lot of fun.
