I've had a great couple of hours in the RWD A class lobbys

they are the best lobbys I've been in with randoms

I noticed this yesterday, gave it a go and it was excellent...

A few major crashes though, one by me , and the whole grid got shifted around.

Problem is... I can only race a RWD for so long before I get the urge to go sideways

So that's why all the other races are full of nobbers. All the racers have moved to the RWD section.

The "I'd sooner swerve into the side of you and we both crash than be overtaken" crowd are really quite annoying.

When did the 'IT' modes appear in multiplayer?

With these, crashing becomes part of the game (it's quite cat and mouse too).

I found it rather addictive this morning.

yep all the good racers are in RWD lobbys now, I'm really please T10 have done this...A "invite friends" option would be the icing on the cake now

leave the nobbers to the "Audi only" Lobbys
saying that I did pop into a general lobby last night for a quick run with my Impreza ...every other car on the grid was a S5..I came 2nd due to a last lap "do or die" by the other driver taking us both into the quick sand at Sedona

i generally only use RWD anyway... but does that mean that when i try to race ill just get destroyed now?

No it doesn't seem so... The lobbies I was in were all fairly balanced.

Porkers seem quite competetive in these lobbies.

not necessarily, the AWD cars are easier to drive but if you are good then you are good...you just have to stay out the way of them

I can run well in A class with my 360CS against the AWD nobbers

I think i'll just stick to the RWD only lobbys for a while though, a lot more clean racers in them over the weekend...got a few friend requests from them too

my favourite for A class RWD is the 360CS




and my old 993GT2




mid or rear engine layout has the best corner exit grip imho, although saying that I get on alright with the E92 M3

I cant do ANYTHING with the E46 M3GTR though

Despite my distain for Beemers I rather like the GTR...

A group of lads I race with like organised same make/class/era races and one of which is a M-spec cup.

I usually do quite well in my stock GTR compared to their tuned cars

I love the E46 M3GTR but I cant get any corner exit grip compared to the A class E92 M3, or even the A class DB9 I built/tuned

may have to give this a go.

The amount of times I get spun out at the start or people dont check their mirrors and cut across you when your on their inside is crazy. The worst thing is I then get the blame for causing the crash and voted off.
