Bioshock 1 was overrated, so not bothered about the second.

ME2, however, is looking fantastic. 10/10 from Gamer TM, 9.6 from IGN, 10/10 from XBM...shame some of the RPG elements have been tamed down, but otherwise, can't wait

Thanks for posting the lauch trailer, with me watching that made me wanting ME2 so much more.

Just looked more into Bioshock 2 and it appears that you play through the whole game as the Big Daddy I'm just curious how they're working on the story-line to go with that?

MAG (Massive Action Game) looks farking brilliant - pity it seems to be a PS3 title only You getting it SkylineCrazy?

I really like the idea of Mass Effect and played it a while, but I'm so useless at these sort of games I just end up getting killed over and over. Which kind of puts a damper on proceedings.

Slightly off-topic, but I read somewhere that Dead Rising 2 is due out over here mid March - just in time to finish ME2,Bioshock 2 and AVP - Apparently it comes out in the states sometime between August and September!

Only downer with Mass 2, is that landing on a planet and having a good old drive about in your buggy/lander thing, has now gone

Apparently it's some type of hover vehicle that's replaced the Mako Rover. But there's still no word yet to what this new vehicle actually looks like.

I read that there may be a DLC thing you can nip about in later on, but as it stands, you just land on a planet and you can't drive anywhere.The level is just loaded and that's it, you are either having a walk about in a space station, or on bordered levels on the planets surface.Not that the rover was everyones cup of tea, but I liked it.You harvest minerals now by use of probes and a scanner from your ships flight deck.

Thats a shame, even though i thought the Mako had many flaws it was great fun exploring. I loved the feeling of exploring a empty feeling planet and then spotting a structure in the distance.

I got totally bored with exploring yet another identikit planet in order to fulfil some pointless collection quest. Where you saw an uncharted planet filled with mystery, I saw a random computer generated terrain filled with identical buildings to the last planet, only instead of grey terrain it was red.

I'm glad they got rid of that aspect and have condensed it down into more actual gameplay.

I feel the same about ME1. Got it and played it for hours (the initial space station stuff was good, and then the first time in your ship) but soon got bored with the repetition of planets and structures. Everything seemed the same after a while and it did get a bit lifeless. This is probably the main reason why I didn't finish ME1. Oh well, maybe 2 will be better.
