What do others think about S.T.E.A.M ?

Have to say I'm using this more and more over the years. It's just so easy.... First used it way back when Half Life 2 was released. Finished it and then forgot all about Steam.

Reasurected it about 2 years ago and downloaded and replayed Half Lift 2 ! Been buying stuff ever since.

Theirs also some cracking deals. Last night purchased :

Had it since the release of HL2 (as you had to have it).

Love it nice bargains to have, easy to find your mates and no CD's

Hated it when I first got Half Life 2, have since grown to love it. It's like a film where two people can't stand each other, but after a long arduous journey where they have overcome various difficulties, they find themselves become best friends.

The fact that I am a messy bugger who misplaces discs, manuals and lend them to forgetful friends means that Steam has saved me a fair few quid. I got the entire Unreal collection (from Unreal - the latest Unreal Tournament) for a few quid, Broken Sword for a few quid and a few Steam exclusives for very little money too.

I agree though, it is sometimes a little too convenient!

Used it for CS. Not played for about 5 years tho. Might give it a go if I can remember my login.
