My friend was moaning about somebody last night using an AR mounted shoutgun killing people, i told him he was st & to stop being stupid but turns out it' true lol.

I'm assuming it's the under-gun shotgun attachment you get for the AR's.

Yes basically there's a guy playing Highrise who shoots his mate with the FAL AR Shotgun attachment with maybe two shots accross the open part of the map!

If it's the same video I've seen then all it's essentially doing is giving the under mounted shotty the same 'range' as the normal bullets. The video is HC mode and still needs one/two shots to kill, so more would be required for softcore kills. Apparently the enhanced range applies on all ARs when you add the under-mounted shotgun (from what I've read elsewhere).

Ive tried the Fal with the attached shotgun and it doesnt work, it may be because im on PS3, it may be that xbox have not patched it and sony have.

I thought it was so you could have a close combat attachment and your secondary can be a rocket launcher of some kind. Although like most others, I presume, I have a separate class for aircraft take downs. I have only used the shotgun attachment a few times as I find it slow.

Think it only works on Hardcore, where the players health is much lower so the low damage the individual shotgun pellets do is enough to kill. The glitch is that they have the same range as a normal AR bullet. Wont work on a normal game because the shotgun pellets don't do enough damage to take out 100% of the players health.
