Noob console question.

Bought a PS3 which I don't like, giving it to g/f. Going to try an Xbox next, will it still work if I lay it on it's side?
Don't have room in the cabinet to stand it up.

Yeah it'll work.
Mine used to be on its side till I got my new tv.

Mine has been on its side since i got it about 5 years ago, it is on the bottom shelf of the tv stand.

Personally I have always laid mine flat so the disc cant move around as the tray goes in.
Also remember there are vents on the bottom and would be covered if you stand it on its end. Totally up to you what you do though.

For me the xbox controller is far more comfortable. Surely apart from that they are pretty much the same?

And it's not like the XBox has a history of heat issues, eh?
