Chaps,

I am looking at getting an Xbox 360 and have just had a look on Game, however there seems to be two different kind of 360s? Which is the best one and what else do I need (I have a wireless router, presumably it will connect to this?)

Thanks,
Mike

best one ELITE' storage space is the key, you get a hdmi port on the 60gigs too if you wernt bothered about hdd space, you need 2 wireless controllers, xbox live membership you get one month free

Best option for the best price atm, though it is only until the 23rd.

It wont connect to your wireless router wirelessly unless you buy the Microsoft wireless adaptor (about 50 quid and a rip off).
Best and easiest way to connect is via an ethernet cable into your router.

Any 360 with a HDD is good enough, and yes you will need the MS wireless uSB dongle, bit of a ripoff but unless you go for a bridge (or cable) the only option.

Mine is the other end of the house and works fine, even for streaming HD movies.

Or there is this option if you have the dough...

Not 1 to start an argument, but I'd just go for a PS3 wink

Now that is a very good deal!

I'd get it, but already have everything in that list biggrin

I have forwarded the link to some people who were thinking about getting one as I imagine this deal won't be about for long.

fyi you dont HAVE to have the microsoft wireless adaptor. i used a gaming adaptor from PC world for a while (until it broke after about 2 years) then went to the xbox one ( which broke after a year) and now im running the xbox wired....

What gaming adaptor are you talking about?
I thought loads of people had tried using alternate (ie. cheap) wireless dongles without success.

Also don't have the wifi adapter. Simply plugged ethernet cable from xbox in to laptop (router was too far away in separate part of the house) and get the xbox wireless that way. Seems more than good enough for downloading demos and playing online.

Game wise you need Fable 2. Such a beautifully crafted game it has kept me occupied for hours and hours. My only regret is that there aren't more games like this on the xbox.
