Quick FM3 car question

Hello,

A friend at work is arranging a FM3 tournament this weekend. What's better between the Ford and Chevrolet Nascar and the Audi and Mercedes DTM Touring Car?

Don't want to waste my hard earned cash!

Both stock cars are very similar to each other, as are the DTM cars, so it's really up to you what you feel comfortable in and how you tune your car. In the case of the DTM cars, I find the Mercedes much easier to drive with all assists off than the Audi. Remember, there is a third DTM car too (the Opel Astra).

Have a play with them in the 'quick race' mode and see which ones you prefer.

as said above, unless you are really going to be looking for last few tenths (I mean off the ultimate pace of the car, this is top 10 on the leaderboards speed). I would try the cars and drive what you feel best with - if you are allowed setups in you race you might find some good ones on the storefront. There is very little if anythign between the nascars, and the dtm cars handle slightly differently but are very simular in outright pace.

Chevy Stock car is the best in my opinion after trying all three.

As for DTM cars, I'd go for the Audi half the price of the Merc and almost exactly the same, I think the Merc is 4 mph quicker.

Merc is beautiful. You could probably get an Audi cheap. Peoples are still selling the Zune ones on the ah. De painted and de tuned, but cheap.
