Britcar 24hr meet

Guys and gals,
For those who are already in the know, a few of us are meeting up at the Britcar 24hr race meeting at silverstone near the end of the year. This is just some info for those guys:

Rather than email each and every one of you which is quite time consuming (and i'm always forgetting) I created this group which makes it much easier for me to keep you up to date with whats going on. If you don't have Facebook then throw me an email and i'll contact you the old fashioned way.
So if you can all join and then I can send out some friend requests to you (well..........maybe not Curry
)

I prefer to keep my PHing well away from the rest of my crowd.
You can still join the group without having us as freinds Godric........so you can keep your dark secret life dark and secret if you so wish. Just means you can see whats progressing. I prefer to keep my PHing well away from the rest of my crowd.

1st - 3rd Oct......so i suggested meeting up on the Saturday, catch the start of the race, get drunk, go to bed, wake up, have a bacon roll, watch teh end of teh race, depart.Will post some more details up when I get the prices through from the campsite

Right, I shall put this info up on the Facebook group this evening when I get back from work (bloody work computers block it)
The Britcar 24hrs is taking place from Fri 1st Oct - Sun 3rd Oct at Silverstone.
What I want to do is for everyone to meet up early on the Saturday morning at the services at Junction 10 of the M40. After we are all there and accounted for, we will drive to the campsite at silverstone together so that we all get to camp next to one another. I'm waiting to hear from the campsite in question but it has direct access to the racetrack and it looks to be around £10 per person per night. The Britcar race doesn't kick off till late in the afternoon but there are plenty of support races to keep you going through the day. In the evening I shall entertaining you all with my fantastic BBQ skills and Muz can provide the entertainment from his passion wagon (quick one for you Muz, there's no electrical hook ups.....they do allow generators though)
There are toilets and showers on site so if the beer gets too much for you then you are well catered for.
Then after the drinks are consumed and people are sleeping off their hangovers you can stay for the rest of the day and watch the end of the race or leave whenever is best for you.
Britcar tickets are on sale now on the Silverstone website.......£12 in advance and £30 on the day, so best book them now if you're definetly coming.
So thats it for now, I'll update you with more news as I get it.
