Forza 3 - Pathetic!

Hadn't played for a while as I was getting pissed off with people cheating and just simply not racing. Went on for an one and a half hours and couldn't get into 1 room where anyone had any sense, understood what racing meant, ah... I can't even bother typing this - not playing it again.
ts, it's not just FM3... I purposely dropped my Trueskill down to about 19 so I could just play games beating people who thought they were better than me. It's much more fun that way.
I hate to say it but the public lobbies are dead unless you want to race leaderboard cars and basically punt people off on the first lap.
The RWD lobbies were the best racing I have had in a longgg time but then a month later they cut half of them.

if someone knocks you off- close the gap, make them really aware of you being there, then beginewhat looks like a take out move on them... watch them swerve off the track to avoid it. drive past. Sorted. They make a silly error and you sail past without sinking to their level!

eventually you will find a good public room, but because of M$ policy of having matchmaking style public lobbies, instead of the player hosted ones of Forza 2 etc, and more and more people sitting in party chat there is simply less human element involved in racing- short races make people feel they need to bash to get past!

lol, I thought it was just me....have let my xbl expire after 7 years continuous subscription. 99% of the people on there are tossers so cannot be bothered paying for it.
When winter comes next I will get a ps3 and play online for free.

Exactly the same with me.Was on earlier, was a fine race, until someone decided to come up the side of me and spin me out, on purpose.
So, I caught up with him after he spun out, and at the next corner I shunted him off the track, then at the end a got kicked.
Apart from that, I usually just get on with it, and just play with friends.
I occasionally luck into some good public races, I have had a few good ones in the multi class stuff, but sadly there are so few players, its really pot luck if you even get a full lobby.
Have to say I really enjoyed my first PH race so now looking forwards to wednesdays more, buut otherwise I find forza so frustrating on line too.
My other pet hate apart from the nutters that ram you off the circuit is the bad losers, you have a full race, you do okay and are perhaps first or second thanks to clean driving, not ramming people, and then people just quit as they cannot win the race. i know they want to protect their ratings, but jez??

Get on with people like Y2Blade. Never had an unfair game with them. Always an apology if someones knocked off the circuit. There difficult to keep up with though.
I've had the same experience on project gotham before now. My favourite trick if i was knocked off on the first corner was to chase them down. Sit on their arse up until the final corner and then play them at their own game. I know you shouldn't play an idiot at their own game and all that but it was happening every other race.
