XBOX 360's scratched a disc

Hi, as the title says really. Went to play Forza which subsequently didn't load, checked the disc only to find a scratch the whole way round the edge of the disc. I read somewhere that Microsoft replace certain discs in certain countries, is this true and has anyone done this?.

You can take it into a branch of Gamestation and they can repair the disc for £2 if the scratch isn't too deep. XBox 360 is famous for scratching discs if it falls off the telly while playing, and they should be able to fix it if that's all that's happened.

Yeah, I'd personally go down the route of getting the scratch fixed, rather than the game replaced. I haven't heard of MS completely replacing discs.

To avoid it happening in future, don't move the 360 from the Horizontal position to the Vertical position (or vice versa) whilst it's on, with a disc spinning in there.

When it happened to me (many moons ago), MS said to send them the game with £10 and they would send me a new one

Like I say though, it was ages ago and no doubt things will have changed........
