Midtown Madness

Just having a bit of a reminisce, does anyone remember Midtown Madness and Motocross Madness ?

I used to love Midtown Madness on the PC. Just driving around Chicago, using indicators and everything, before eventually getting bored and crashing into people just to see them put their hazards on.

Motocross Madness was slightly less fun, but always felt realistic. Apart from jumping 500ft in the air and not dying when you land.

Had midtown madness 2, It was awesome online and if you could get the mods working even better. I remember having a car list bigger than FM3

I had Midtown Madness 2 as well, or whichever one was based in San Fransicso.

I remember the car list being immense with fire engines etc available to download.

Great game back in it's time!

Motorcross madness was briliant, massive maps to just go a free ride for hours, great fun.

It runs on Windows 7! But for some reason, I can't get the sound to work...

I used to love MM2! I never played anything properly on it; I just used to download tons of cars and muck about with things like the icy road cheats or the anti-gravity cheat.

Haven't played this for years. I believe I've got Midtown Madness 2 and Motorcross Madness 2 hidden away somewhere at home.

Woo! That's what I'm running too, there is hope. I tried playing Interstate 76 on it lately and had to use XP to install it before it would run on 7, then it just looked utterly mental and the sound was all wonky.

I literally only played it for two minutes last night, but the sound wasn't working. I'll have another mess around tonight and see if I can sort it. I'm also going to try and find Motocross Madness so I can do some crazy jumps.

I remember getting it with my Sidewinder steering wheel. Always felt the force feedback would snap my arm off!
