Forza 2 after Forza 3

Just garnering opinion. I missed Forza's 1 and 2 and jumped straight to Forza 3. I enjoy it immensely but, mainly down to an erratic work schedule, I usually play in single player career mode, which I am nearing completion and I'm wondering if I'll play the game much after that.
Anyway, was ordering something on play earlier and see that Forza 2 is only a £10'er. If i get it to play the 1 player mode, am I going to bother playing it after Forza 3 or will it seem too old hat?
Also thought about getting Test Drive unlimited which also passed me by.

Single player in Forza 2 seemed a lot more fun than 3 for me. I wouldnt really have thought it worth doing after finishing 3 though. Its all pretty much the same.
Are there different tracks and cars on F2? Not sure whether to bother or not but I suppose it would only be £10 wasted if i never play it.One the big things on Forza 2 that unfortunately is lost with the Storefront on FM3 was the very collectable cars that were available from some of the top painters (before many got hacked), many a late night on the Auction House trying to buy some of the best Limited Editions, The 5th Element painted Porsche was my personal goal, but never got one.

Funnily enough was considering starting a similar thread myself! Bought FM2 from Game a couple of weeks ago after trawling the pre owned section and found it for £2.97! Considering this might just get you a Big Mac meal today, I considered a good buy and took the plunge. For that money it is still a great game, except no one else races online anymore! But if you're going to play offline anyway, I'd reccomend it

Aww damn what a shame! This would make sense as when I went online looking for people to race against, there were 0 players online... 
hey all just putting my 2 cents in. concerning test drive, i would recomend it highly but id wait for the 2nd to come out cos is going to be alot better and bigger game al round. lack of car tuning is a pain but realism makes up for that. and by realism i mean car modeling and surroundings. also free roaming is great too. as for forza you get the tuning handling physics and pretty much all the cars in tdu. the second forza is my favourite. seems more relaxed and less serious than the 3rd also got a bit more features too which i find odd. 1st one is great but bit dated. i used to be a gran turismo fan but i was converted forza ftw lol hope this helps

Cheers, I decided to give Forza 2 a miss. I did order TDU and CM Dirt (£5 each!) but haven't played either yet as I'm still addicted to Forza 3!TDU gave me a lot of enjoyment first time round but as with most things i grew tired..
I have 4 of the car packs for it too, they made it more appealing but Atari never lived up to there promise of new cars every month.
TDU2 is a definite buy for me. I would say if you haven't played through TDU's missions/objectives (There all pretty much the same thing) then go for it as although it is quite repetive and the graphics/physics are a bit naff (especially curbs, lamposts and hills) it did all add up to a good game
