Sorry PH search down agin so not going to look through lots of pages if this has been posted before
Ok I never played AC 1 but really enjoyed and finished 2. I don't often finish games. in the past 2 years only AC2 and Batman Arkham asylum have I finished

I played AC1 and got a little bored of the repitition and the death defying completely unrealistic free running. You could make spiderman look foolish. Also being a Medieval historian i was a little critical of certain aspects of the game. Couldnt help it. Anyways as a result i didnt really fancy AC2. Am i missing out a great deal?

well as I saids I never played 1 but the second was an amazing game. I loved it and if you liked the last batman game I mentioned in my first post you'll love AC2Nice one Antimus, looks like you've got to go for a minimum 12 month term of Empire to qualify, but I'd much rather that, than suffer 12 months of FHM.
I enjoyed Assassin's Creed 2, but not sure I fancy more of the same quite so soon, and I'm hoping they take the next game into the current day, as Desmond seems to be about ready for it and it would make for an interesting change of pace.
I'm going to wait and see what the reviews say about the game before subscribing though, offer is valid until December 31st.

Bargain I'd say, sure you might not get the game on release day, but you get the game, and a magazine subscription too.
There was a thread about an offer like this a while back. In short, you probably won't get the game. I plan on getting this sometime soon, there was just too much to play towards the end of last year, AC2 is the only game I've ever 100% achievemented (yeah, it is a word).One of the improvements in the latest game is that there isn't so much of the climbing to viewpoints (only 25 in the whole game).
Also the training up of other assassins sounded like a bit of a gimmick but really works - a slght wave of the hand and you can take out the enemy whilst still remaining anonymous. Makes the game alot easier in the later stages.

I've loving this. I've become really picky over games (only really enjoyed Arkham of late from the boxed games), and kind of fancied AC2, but it still looked a bit repetitive. Brotherhood really delivers! Lots of do, fighting is ace (almost exactly like Arkham, where timing is everything), the exploring etc. Worth a buy.
Excellent diversion from GT5 when it gets a tad tedious.
Really enjoy the puzzles, but they seem easier than AC2 (AC2 was the first one i played, so i was on a learning curve)
Its a great game, but i find myself getting bored with it, enemies are too easy to kill, but i suppose its because ezio is a ruthless assassin. I do enjoy the free running and climbing side of it.

Totally agree with one of the earlier posts, the next game has been confirmed but nobody's really sure what's gonna happen in it yet. I think another Ezio game, Desmond game in the modern day, or Desmond stepping into the Animus to play as a son of Ezio could be good? Love this series of games, AC2 was my first, finished that 100%, saw that morrisons was selling AC1 for £12, bought it and wasn't overly impressed. Brotherhood is a great game though.
