No more Forza 3 DLCs

So Turn 10 have announced there will be no more monthly DLCs and they won't say when the 2nd Jalopnik pack will be coming out. I could have sworn they said DLCs for 12 months after launch, surely we haven't had it that long have we?

I definitely remember them saying there'd be a DLC every month for the first year, perhaps they're doing a Forza 3.5 that will include the use of that Kinetic thing so have stopped working on 3?

The Jalopnick pack is 'Fall 2010' release isn't it? Likely to be 600Ms points too I reckon.

Aaah well, I haven't downloaded any of the packs, so they'll all be new to me!

If you have a look on marketplace at the minute there are 5 DLCs on offer for only 1200 points, half price I think. Perfect opportunity for you!

I agree, I think they should throw in some new championship events with a track DLC, surely it wouldn't take much extra work to add another column of races to the grid?

nope i mean multiplayer, I think i've played the 'Ring once maybe twice at the most, i understand its due to the classes i race (B and R3) But it shouldnt be the case. I still MUCH prefer the old system on forza 2 of having a host who could choose which track you did. Some of them actually listened to people. Or i could host a 'ring server and get loads of people in.

Perhaps we should start having PH Nurburgring nights incorporating the Nordschleife and GP circuit, the full Nordschleife wasn't used enough in the game for me and when trying to race there with randoms online you always get a lobby full of morons who just punt you off.

There was a Nurgurgring GP night a while back, I'd be up for a few more races round there, it's a great addition to the game

ah you mean the random multi-player lobbys/hoppers?

I generally host my own lobbys and invite people in then that way we get to chose what tracks we do
can't remember the last time I joined the random multi-player hoppers

yeah the forza 2 system was miles better

I'm wondering about this as well. TBH I'm quite disappointed with the Forza DLC. The 'ring GP, I never touch because it isn't integrated into the game in any way unless you deliberately choose it for a private race. Most of the car packs have featured one half interesting car and then a fleet of mediocre tin boxes. The only one I can think of which seemed great was the one that included the Radical, Mosler, Gumpert and Weissmann. I expected more.
