Tv recommendation

Hi chaps,

Gonna be purchasing a PS3 in the coming week's in readiness for GT5 and so need some advice on a TV to go with it. Got a budget of £500 to spend.

It will only be used with the PS3. Also looking at projection TV's, are they any good? I know there more expensive but would consider one if they where worth it.

How big would you say you would like it, I mean you don't want one too big for the room or too small if you're sitting a distance from it.

Edit to add: Personally I would go with a fair sized HD LCD
