F1 2010: Save Data is corrupt.

So got the game, started 7 year season. Finished well is Bahrain. Saved after doing the challenge on Australia practice and saved the game and shut down as normal. Loaded it back up an hour pater to be presented with this bullst, well thanks very much codemasters you bunch of useless fks. Ever heard of testing a fking game before it's released?

I'm not going to start another career mode until they sort it out if it can just fk up at any given opportunity.

Saving onto 512MB memory unit btw.

I've got exactly the same problem. I quit after doing the practice session in Melbourne and got the corrupt error this morning. Have you reported it on the forums?

At least I'd only done one race weekend. Losing any more than that would be soul destroying.

Same for me lost all my data, also came 2nd in my first race, but this was because no-one pitted bar me!!!!!!

Me too.. 4 races in, and just started to score some points.. very irritating.

Some digging around on the internet seems to suggest that it goes wrong if you do the R&D goals - if you ignore these, it shouldn't corrupt.

We are aware of an issue where the savegame is reported
as corrupt after using the R&D function in the practice session of career
mode. However this issue is not 100% repeatable so is still being investigated.
In the meantime if you do not use the R&D function when playing the career
mode you should hopefully avoid experiencing the problem.

As soon as we have further information and any fixes, we
will post them in our FAQs and on the forums.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience
caused"

If it really is about the R&D function that can be avoided - even in career practise - just don't select it in the engineer menu.

Ah that's (sort of) good to know. I had just done my first R&D thing when my corrupted. I guess I'll just have to forgo the upgrades.
