Going for a fiver on Steam just now.

Think I'll give it a pop. The first was good but I went off it kinda quickly, can't go wrong with this for a fiver though.

Love it on the 360 - tends to be a lot of screaming 12 year old Americans, but for every crap game, a good one more than makes up for it.

The other week had a great team, was steaming drunk, and we got the perfect game on Dead Centre - the sheer volume of rage directed towards us afterwards was brilliant smile

I like LfD2 as a blatter when I'm tired. It requires no finesse at all but its a giggle and a half.

Best fiver you will spend on steam (at least until the next weekend deal hehe)

I think a fairly big content/feature update is being rolled out which will be interesting!

Also loved it on the 360, got tired of the usual wazzocks online though.

Excellent game to play with two up on the same console.

Much prefer Killing Floor to Left 4 Dead, spent a few weeks addicted to that earlier this year.

There's been a recent DLC "Sacrifice" for both L4D and L4D2 (you can get both games for £8 on steam at the moment). In L4D2 it lets you use the original 4 survivors (Bill, Francis, Louis and Zoe) with L4D2 weapons and specials thumbup

I know what I'll be doing this weekend...... (I'm Fadingfool on steam if you want to join in the odd campaign game)

I'm going to guess PC players aren't as bad as some people you encounter on the xbox?

Generally speaking fellow players on the PC don't dick around.

PC gamers tend to be more Hardcore. Xbox and PS3 made online gaming accessable to the technically inept.

I prefer PC gaming but my hardware is all work orientated. Insufficient graphics capability to support games.

I mean community-made ones. Every time I load a game there's a few new maps someone has created.

Edit: turns out there's a website dedicated http://www.l4dmaps.com/files.php?cat=5

Is this still any good?

It's currently £3.74 on Steam for the next three hours.

Comes alive in multiplayer - not sure how active the community is now though.

Can't go wrong for that price.
