F1 2011 wish list

Had time to play F1 2010 for a while now and while its a great first effort from Codemasters in 2011 id like to see..

Slight improvements to circuit re-production such as the pits in Spa and Korea now weve actually seen it.

Better puncture modelling

Brake bias adjustment in game, its such a basic thing they missed out!

Actual TV graphics and better splits etc

Maybe having GP2 in the career mode, especially with the 2011 car looking the same as an F1.

SPLIT SCREEN! I have friends I want to play against face to face!

Quicker steering action for pad players, the steering just isnt fast enough to catch a tank slapper IMO.

Also if they bother with F1 2011, PLEASE put the new Silverstone pits/paddock in, looks a fantastic venue!

Not played F1 2010 yet, but would be good, as above, to start your career in GP2. You have to impress enought to get an F1 drive or if not, another season of GP2.

I'd guess they don't have a GP2 license though.

Would be nice if after a few years they do a 2010-2013 (or however long they have the license for) with proper career progression.

And another thing they need to change are the rubbish semi-manaul pit entries and exits where the computer half controls the speed, let me do it myself!!

DLC F1 Classics is high up on my wishlist, Mansell`s Williams, Senna`s McLaren, Prost`s Ferrari, Schumachers Benneton perhaps.... or livery pack in the same vein would be good, perhaps the modders for the PC platform will get on it. I know there was a couple of extra paint packs done on CM`s Grid ..

Hope a simple livery editor is considered in the 2011 edition.

Finishing the game before releasing it would be a step in the right direction.

Have the pit crew actually look like an f1 pit crew.

Be able to have more freedom to spend the money you get from contract's in the game itself
perhaps different motorhomes
And be able to pay for a seat.

More helmet choice would also help.

Create your own team? Including paint job and build your car from parts from the other teams, eg, a McLaren style front wing, or Red Bull rear wing etc..

Also create your own helmet design, that should be a fairly simple one. It would be nice to get some commentary bits from the BBC lot (mainly Brundle), though not suite sure how you'd implement that within the game.

Also I don't like the fact the pit crew are the same "models" for every team in the same positions - yes, you, baldy at the front. Why couldn't they have randomised it a little.

Really it just needs a few tweaks to the finer details and it'd be fairly spot on. As it is, I think its brilliant anyway, despite the bugs.

Telemetry, and then the ability to overlay with your team mate. How this is missed out I never know, but it would be very valuable to understand where you're slower.

Also - much more realistic pit stops. 6 seconds for a tyre change?!

I would like the addition of a 'Briatore' DLC Pack. In this pack you will gain the chance to earn more money by crashing on a certain part of a certain track.

I would also like customizable engineer voices. A nice lady who comments on the way you push so hard would be nice.

The way I drive I'd make a fortune :laugh

I think a lot of the ideas in here just wouldn't work due to licensing restrictions - you can't do things like have drivers swapping teams or change the liveries.
