Well, after posting in another topic about how my PS3 was an original 60GB from 2007 and that it was working reliably, today it died with a YLOD 
.
However, oddly, I am not angry about it, rather I decided to take a philosophical approach and treat it like a complete fresh start. Only snag was that it had decided to try and keep hold of my Black Ops disk.
20 minutes later and with my old ps3 in bits, I managed to retrieve the disk from the blu-ray player and I now have a 320GB model on my list for xmas pressies (collectively from everyone).
Feel much better about it now.
