Forza had a gallery thread and as GT5 has arguably the best graphics in any racing game and a 'photo mode' to boot, might as well start one for it!

Few us can contribute just yet (Diablo excluded, the lucky sod), so here I'll get the ball rolling.

That's insane. Although saying that, I would rather a little less detail on the headlights and grills and have a few more tracks to race it on.

I showed that to my mate with



and asked him which was real and which was a screenshot (I covered up the GT logo) and he got it wrong.

He has just graduated from uni with a 2-1 in computer game design.

Just goes to show. On first glance, I think I'd probably agree with him too.

Game design is different to modelling/animation.

To the (reasonably) trained eye the first one is clearly CG, the bonnet line at the top of the headlight, the reflection on the bumper underneath the fog light and the depth of field are the first 3 things I noticed.

Graphics in it really are lush though.

I'm aware of that, they're two different degrees/careers, I was just pointing out that a massive gaming fan and someone who has spent 3 years studying them, couldn't immediately tell if a screenshot was real or not. That's all.

Anyway, don't want to bicker, the graphics are lush!

Not trying to bicker mate! Just sometimes some people don't realise that game design (development) differs to game design (graphics), clearly you do
