Fanatec buying process

How does it work? I placed an order with them on saturday. Only recipts i have are from paypal confirming the money side of things. I have had nothing direct from Fanatec. Is this normal? Also are their predictions on teh webiste for delivery fairly accurate?? They say 'pre order only, shipping January'

So there is every chance they will have my money for a year before i see anything!? what have i done..... i guess it would be easier to buy 2nd hand!?

Dont worry, its not that bad, i had a 2 week delay on my Turbo S

I think at first they were delayed alot, but now things are better, ive heard the customer service is not great from Fanatec (although i have had no issues).
Thomas from Fanatec is often on sim websites to answer questions too if you have any, I just cant remember the racing forum he was on sorry!!!

On the website it says the Turbo S will ship nov, but i ordered a standard GT3 RS which says Jan.

I have emailed them expressing my concerns at a lengthy deley so ill wait for a reply.

I got mine last year, it was suppose to ship end of sep i think, got it mid oct so I was happy.

Expect a long wait to hear back from them, customer service isn't their strong point.

As for the Turbo S being available in November, which site are you getting that info from? I can't see it listed on there anywhere, apart from the American site. I'm only interested in that model specifically as I can use it for both the PS3 and XBox, otherwise I'll go for the much cheaper option of the Driving Force GT.

on the plus side.... got a reply from them and they have confirmed it will ship this week!! Result!
