PH 80s touring car world championship 22nd December onwards

Following some extensive testing ( thanks guys ( I am pleased finally announce the the final cast in stone, never moving regs for a ongoing 80s championship
Cars allowed are:
Ford Sierra RS500
Volvo 242 Turbo
Merc 190 E 2.5
BMW E30 M3
Toyota Supra 1984
Toyota Supra Mk3 the finial one with pop up lights.
Toyota AE86
Honda Civic 94
Golf GTI Mk1 & 2
Lotus Carlton
Mazda rx7 Savanna
SAAB 99 Turbo
BMW 2002s
No engine swaps
no drivetrain swaps either rwd or Fwd
No aero ( merc has as standard an adjustable rear wing sadly)
80s touring car livery please
Multiple cars are fine, team colours encouraged

Two races race both 12 laps. one forced pit stop for each
3 lap qualifying to determine first race grid the next race will be reverse
Race 1 will be B 500pi class cars only ( both fwd and rwd work very well and are competitive)
Race 2 will be A 600pi class cars only ( I suggest you pick a rwd car for this as fwd struggles at 600pi)
You can change your car, so a Gti for the race 1 and a carlton for race 2.
Damage Limited
Traction and stability forced off.
Wednesday nights 8.45 lobby opens 9.00pm start. ( I will have to move my 70s and 60s night on the 29th if I can !!)

I'd love to run a Sierra or a Mercedes, but I'm a big VW fan so it has to be the Golf. I'll see how it behaves and if it's on the pace at PI600, unless I misread the opening post and I can change it to RWD?

I just had a go in the Golf, and it is way overpowered at A600... Everything is maxed out and I get 320bhp, and it is relly hard to keep the understeer under control. I managed a 2.04 around Mugello, then jumped in the Mercedes with a quick tune thrown on, and ran 1.57s straight away...
Might have to change cars, my Sierra was almost as quick...
