Anyone else having problems with Black Ops?

Every sodding game I'm playing online cuts out half way with the 'Connection Interrupted' message and results in me getting kicked out.

I have perfect broadband so it's not that. Is there any way to alleviate this problem? I'm at my wit's end.

I'm pretty sure that I heard something about this last week.

Some of the discs aren't working fully.

I know, I know, but it seems to have got even worse in the last week or so since the new patch was released.

Yup - is definitely worse with the new patch.

There's an option you have in the lobby before you search for a game - can't remember what it's called exactly, but you can choose to match make basically with either 'local' or 'everyone' from what I remember. Choosing the former option improved game reliability in my experience.

If the host of the game begins to experience connection issues such as a drop in connection speed it can interupt or disconnect everyone. Usually, the system selects a new host a does another "match starting in 5..." message instead of just closing the game, when possible. Sometimes it just goes tits up and everyone gets the boot.

Mine has been doing it pretty badly since day one so i havent noticed it's any worse with the patch. It is very frustrating though, especially when you're playing a brilliant match and you lose all your stats and xp because of it.
Sometimes it can be down to "Dashboarders" though.

Mines been getting worse over last couple of weeks.
Every 3rd or so game cuts off with the connection interrupted error.
PITA, MW2's connection was never that bad.

all joking aside it is crapola, its not the internet connection, as my connection was supporting a xbox playing cack ops the same time as me on ps3 and i lost connection a few times, and the xbox didn't
