What platform do they run on?

I wish someone would make a modern BTCC game, with all the UK tracks in it. I used to really enjoy the TOCA one that was on the original Playstation.

The games are on the PC, though there is Race Pro for the Xbox 360 which is utter crap compared to the PC versions.

WTCC 07, Race on and GTR Evolution all join into one game when installed so you get loads of cars and track, plus there is an un-official BTCC pack you can download.

I used to race these last year before I bought the PS3. The PS3 community with GT5, F1 2010 is much more active but there are a few groups which you can join - just look on the game's website. The Sunday night open one make races were always full.

GT legends has turned up but after installing it I click the icon and it comes up with an error saying that I need "Administrator Privileges" to install the application, even though I just have.

edit: right ive sorted that by going to the GTL.exe file, going into properties and changing the administrator rights. Now though the game wont load because of a problem with Star Force Protection which dosnt work well with Vista. Soo pissed off I just want to play the game!!

SECOND EDIT: So I cure that with a patch and now when I enter the key code for the CD the programme crashes..

Now im reminded why console gaming can be so much better!

What OS? Starforce had a fit with me using Win 7 64 bit and the only way to play the game is to crack the exe (I won't give links on here for obvious reasons). Same story with GTR 1&2 which is why I absolutely hate Starforce.

Starforce strikes again!

I was checking the OS as if you install the starforce patch on Win7 64 it stops the system from booting!

Windows 7?

If so you can either run programs (right click - Run as administrator) or better still turn User Access Control off. Go to control Panel, type UAC in the search at the top right go to User Access Control and drop the slider to the bottom.

Sometimes installers do two things, the first setup and unpacking is bypassed by "Run as administrator" but the second being a different installer is blocked.

No Vista.

Had a reply from the seller on Amazon and they are saying that GT Legends does not run on Vista, which is an arse, though I dont see why that would make the programme say the security code is wrong....

Already installed smile

It just meant that the game installation could be finished up to the point of the key code.

What key are you using, the online key from the back of the manual?

Or the one on the DVD disc, that is the one you need to put in to complete the installation?

It dosnt matter either way when you enter the code it comes up in capitals. Ive tried it again today and all it does is crash the programme for a few minutes before coming up with a message saying the code is wrong.

Think im going to take up the sellers offer of a refund and send it back, im wasting valuble racing time trying to sort this out.

my GTL works fine in Vista, and Windows 7. Get the cracked EXE and you'll have no issues.
