so who will be getting one?

ive been having a look at them and they are reported to be around £190 which i think is slightly expensive but isnt enough to really put me off having a look at one, until i saw the cost of the games, £40 per 3ds game! this is ment to be for everybody from 5-95 but how many kids parents (and adult players) are willing to pay out £40 for a ds game, its in the same area as xbox and ps3 prices.

also nintendo released a statement saying kids under 6 shouldnt use the console because it could damage their eyes, and even adults shouldnt play on it for more than 30 minutes a time because it might damage their eyes! has nintendo really thought this out properly or do you think they just wanted to release the first proper 3D gaming device?

Gentle bump as I had a go on one today. The 3D without glasses is mental. It's a bit weird at first, but once your eyes adjust it's great. I fiddled about with these augmented reality cards and shot arrows at dragons. Nice to see an idea from the 6 year old Gizmondo finally being put to good use!

Mine gives me an epic headache if I use it for more than about an hour.

It's the fking coolest though.

Gamestation in Southampton. Not sure what the game was called. It was an augmented reality thing, using the cameras and some game cards placed on various surfaces around the shop. The idea was run around the shop shooting all the dragons with arrows.

Cool, I only have a small game shop near me so I don't think they will do it so the next closest one is camberley.

I had a go on the Pilotwings remake.. quite impressive & brought back happy memories of the SNES version. Given the choice, my 7 year old wanted an iPod touch instead though.
