I'm keeping an eye on this one, still not convinced it will be a true sim though. If only someone could make a console racing game with RacePro physics and EA/Codies style graphics.

the last need for speed was dire when i played the demo.

the cars would take ages to turn in and is just was crap.

I've heard this is meant to be a hardcore sim style game, really hope so!

I heard this also, if you watch some videos about the game it certainly does seem like it will be a sim racer!

The first Forza wasn't very good but the second one was much improved..

I really thought Shift was going to be good, but unfortunately it wasn't for me.

i'm gunna be buying just for the the fia gt1 cars

on serious note hope they move away from the first shift driving physics and more to realistic gt5-ness. However i doubt it :/

If it's anything like the first one, it'll be st. Doubt I'll be buying it, especially as GT5 is still keeping me entertained.

NFS: Shift was awful, so I'll be hanging fire on this one. The one bit of good news is that it is Shift 2, not NFS: Shift 2. It is no longer being branded as a 'Need For Speed' game, so maybe the ridiculous drifting and nonsense chrome paintjobs will disappear from the new game.

With a g25 the first one was bloody amazing especially the engine sound effects.

I gave the 1st Shift a whirl again last week to train the brain in anticipation of the release... Lot`s of fiddling to get the set-up on the steering right & slides still scrub speed off at a horrific rate.

Graphics were lush though (Dusk at Silverstone or Nurburgring) & the engine sounds were spot on. The night races round Spa & Bathurst(?) on the Shift 2 trailers look good, hope the control system has been smoothed out.

I shall be looking at reviews quite closely before deciding if i get it. Told myself after undercover that i would never buy another NFS game.
