Crysis 2 PC Multiplayer Demo Out
Discussion
PC version d/l and I spent 5 minutes on it last night.
Observations so far.
1. "Press Start" - come on guys, basic stuff here.
2. Problems logging on and getting access, website issues - not promising.
3. Hard to get a game, lots of full servers, lots that then just sit in a lobby doing nothing.
4. When I got a game it looked a bit fuzzy bit disappointed when C1 was a bit of a graphics benchmark.
5. The suit has been simplified - not sure if this is a good or bad thing.
6. It's another game with ranks/skills/levelling so a noob gets raped time after time as a more experienced player has better gear and practice.
I'll play some more later for more on gameplay.

Not even logged in yet and I'm pissed off with it
Gamespy is a woeful setup. Punch in username, username taken. Choose new username, e-mail taken.
Great, so they register the e-mail address regardless of whether registration is successful.
Same sh-t as with the original Test Drive Unlimited.
And yes "press start", what the sh-t?

Hmm, not sure.
Looks very pretty, runs amazingly well on my GTX280 rig at full hd res, which surprised me given how easy it was with Crysis to bring it to its knees!
Needs less motion blur and more AA though. I suspect the graphics options will be more customisable in the final version.
Not sure I like the simplified control system, takes the skill out of it. Do not like the airstrikes. Should be like the first game where air craft have to be piloted.
Mixed bag in all. Feels like it could have been called COD:SciFi.

Also filter by full and empty
I don't get those options, why would I want to see only full servers? And although I might want to find an empty server it's not going to happen that often.
Find server with space would be good.
