Forza GT classics

seeing as we have just finished the super saloons, and the clio cup is starting up soon i thought i might have a go at a championship, this will start THURSDAY 19TH MAY.

classics only pre-1970, i may allow a
couple of cars from 1971-73 but i would
like it if you used pre-1970s cars.

RESTRICTIONS:

no race gearboxes
rwd
no aero
B500
550hp limit
no race tyres
no engine swaps
turbos and superchargers are allowed though

TRACKS:

silverstone GP/national (done)
le mans/bugatti (done)
suzuka long/club (done)
nurburgring/GP (done)
mugello long/club
road atlanta long/club
laguna seca (endurance)

RACE:

qualy 3 laps (3 sec roll off, ghost cars)
short race 10 laps (no roll off)
long race 15 laps (x1 mandatory pit stop/1 sec roll off)



two of the same model is allowed





points system:

1st 10
2nd 8
3rd 6
4th 5
5th 4
6th 3
7th 2
8th 1

i will use the end race results to give the points out.


the prizes might be something like a car or prize money, im not sure yet.

I have so many classic paints floating around for this, similar to last years Pre-66 World Cup champ that never happened, so I think there are loads of cars already for this.

Could we maybe do this to B500 instead James? No big deal if not, but a few people signed up to Carl's world cup a few months back at B500, plus I tuned a 250GTO to that spec and an E Type, and cars go very well indeed!

In other words, whatever class you run it i'm in with a Ferrari 250 GTO

If i'm honest I was hoping for someone to say this as I made an E-type to C|425 and it was skittish enough then let alone with an extra 200hp or so!

I remember the championship as I was running in it aswell, I might allow things like the skyline and élan as they are very early 70s.

Are you going to make this GT cars only? To loose the sports cars, making it a real GT champ? ie 2+2

Im not sure but I think I might keep the ferraris and stuff, but I will decide slightly closer to when we will start this, also it is definitely B class so you guys can remove the A class bit from the table.

ETA: Stiggy, if you're going to make it a GT-only champ you might have to allow more than one of each car, as good pre-70's GTs are a little thin on the ground!
