Anybody else looking forward to this?
R* open world games are usually epic (GTA, Red Dead) and I'm hoping this one is no exception - although this is supposedly not a "choose your next mission" style sandbox game it does look to be very good. And with a supposed 25-30 hour campaign it looks like it will take over my spare time when it arrives!

They went to all that bother with facial animations and re-creating and then went and set it in the bloody 1940's. It looks like it has ok but nothing spectacular graphics, and it doesn't look that great gameplay wise. The city looks pretty lifeless too.
Wow, your a bundle of joy.All of the hands-on previews have rated the gameplay very highly, nothing like this has been done on current Gen platforms.
I have it pre-ordered too, knowing R* this will be just as epic as, if not more so than Red Dead.

Sososo excited for this.
Heard the Xbox version will have 3 disks because they can't fit it all on one.
Blu-ray strikes again
From what I've seen though both versions look the same.
I've gone for the 360 version and I'm going to be sat there for the best part of an hour installing it to the bleeding hard drive before I get a chance to play it! I think the PS3 gets a few exclusive cases and stuff too, that the XBox probably won't see for months, much like the extra bits for GTA4.Heard the Xbox version will have 3 disks because they can't fit it all on one.

Its certainly a game YOU need to play, I watched someone else playing it for about an hour and it was quite tedious, but it does look very slick, the maps are nowhere near the size of GTA.Steve Evil said:

Aye, some are 'full exclusive'. So you'll never see them.I think RockStar favor Sony but I'm not complaining as a PS3 user

Remember how all of the XBox boys went round saying that the PS3 would never see the add-on packs for GTA4? Sure enough, a year or so down the line and there they were. They'll be a timed exclusive and the XBox folks will have to wait a while to get them, but they will be available as DLC at some point in the future, I'll bet my bike on it. Besides, it looks like one case, and unless you buy several copies of the game for each system you're going to miss out on at least one case, as Play.com have one exclusive case and Game have another.
I'm not fussed about DLC anyway. It's rare that I buy it unless it's online maps or something.
