Games Concept

[Symptomless Coma]

I have a concept for a computer game / Iphone app, however I do not have the following;

• An Iphone,
• technical ability,
• knowledge of processes,
• natural talent

So... does anyone know any game developers/programmers that welcome game concepts? Where should I go from here? Does Nintendo have a point of contact for these things?

Nintendo don't do iPhone games.

I know this is a daft question but have you downloaded the iPhone SDK? I'd assume it comes with some sort of virtual screen...

Are you hoping to earn money by selling this concept? Or you just really want to see it made into a game?

I work for a games company (no, I'm not trying to steal your idea!) but if I had a pound for every person who said they had an amazing game idea, it would certainly keep my car running and would probably provide for a few extra tasty mods too. FWIW, you're HIGHLY unlikely to make any money out of selling on a concept. Games design isn't just about coming up with the idea, it's about being able to specify all of the boring details as well. If you really want to get paid for it, you need to do it as a career. Chances are if you go to meet a games company and explain your idea, they can just use it and not have to pay you anything. Apologies if that sounds pessimistic but it's probably how things will turn out.

It really depends what you're looking to achieve. I know a few iPhone games developers and while you're not going to see them on the cover of any games magazines anytime soon, they've forged a nice little income from ad revenue and sales. Happy to pass on their contact details if you wish.
