I think that is the GT that he meant. If it is just Matthewm94, let me know.

Just read the details about FM update 8 which dropped last night and includes a new adjustable tyre wear option to see if it's implementation will cause any issues on Sunday night.

Did some testing last night, with the tyre wear left at 1% you'll run out of fuel before you run out of softs although there is some drop off in performance at the end of the stint.

The tyre wear offers some interesting possibilities for future races but I'll be leaving it at 1% for this one as there just isn't time to test it properly.

Good to know it actually does something then! smile

Finally put my 'big boy' pants on last night and tried my Thrustmaster TX wheel on Forza, following the settings Andy shared in the Forza thread it didn't feel too bad surprisingly! Felt light through the wheel and a bit more computer-gamey than the PC sim stuff, but i'll do it again for sure - tempted to use it for this Le Mans race tbh as the 996 felt good on the wheel; satisfying braking right in to the apex then steering it out on the throttle with a quarter turn of oppo, if not the fastest...

The words "pants" and Thrust Master" in the same sentence is mildly arousing......

Absolutely - may be a bang-average wheel/pedal set, but boy is the name amusing... hehe

Just a heads-up, due to the lack of options on the lobby set-up I can't alter the starting grid so it'll be absolute pot luck as to which position you start in.

Boring "Dad" chat even though you'll know all this....

Make sure you have fresh batteries
Reset Xbox/PC and router
Have a good wee
Stay hydrated
Something to wipe sweaty hands on

Finally... Even though I trust all of you in the race be patient at the start as it's a long race that won't be won at the first corner!

Thanks guys, looking forward to it
