last nights sunset

The sunset in oxford last night was absolutely breathtaking.



Thought id share...

What perhaps was more exciting was its the first time ive used a "proper" camera, the Nikon D70, up until now i was really happy with my Sony 717, but I seriously reckon having such a beast would increase my shooting loads.... but can i justify the loan to buy one!

Ooh that's simply gorgeous gravymaster. To be really picky how about a little more cropping off the bottom of the frame?

Seen quite a few of your pictures now and like a lot of the car ones. Keep it up, you've got a real talent there.

To be honest i was amazed by the nikon d70. With my sony, there is always a degree of digital post process to be done. This shot was straight out of the camera.

Sunsets are the most beautifull thing and i think you have done a pretty good job of capturing a doozy there!
That last desperate struggle over the sky and in a vein attempt of supremicy the sun dashes its pallete before the clouds.
To think that every night is a last stand!......... the romance of nature.
