This months theme is cinematic

Any chance of a quick rundown of the rules for us newbies?

I have a couple of ideas, but at least one of them will need a fair bit of work in the old photochopper afterwards, if this isn't acceptable I have plenty of other ideas

As far as I am concerned you can create an image any way you like, with whatever type of processing or camera you choose

I thought this months competition was 'On the road' as per other thread?

No, that's the Challenge. The two have been running for several months. This allows shots from the archives the challenge has to be shot during the month of the competition.

I'm surprised no one has entered or even put up on the discussion thread, I guess everyone is waiting for someone to go first. Given that situation I wonder if Nick would be kind enough to put a photo of his here that would describe the vision in his mind as to what 'cinemtatic' involves. This would help me especially as I am being a little slow!

Due to the distinct lack of photoshop I will not be entering but I would be interested in seeing other people's attempts. Hopefully this will help with the entries.
