Didn't realise they had mothballed the stealth ship and it was so easy to get to, would love that as a private yacht

Thats awesome - they even found "Sea Shadow" - the stealth ship from James Bond, Tomorrow Never Dies!
If you look up its history it resides inside of a mining barge, i mean it could hardly be more Fleming inspired, its an evil megalomaniacs wet dream!!

Great pics, but slightly questionable story - I mean if you were trespassing on US military property and photographing “reserve ready” ships, would you really post up the proof, your name, pictures of yourself and your car? Unless you wanted an all expenses paid trip to SE Cuba....

Exactly my thoughts

Would have been interesting to see what the inside of the Sea Shadow looks like though. I wonder if it's just a shell made of cornflake packets

Been reading more into Sea Shadow

The US Navy are offering it as a free donation to museums and qualifying organisations.

Now there are how many PH'ers ?? 60K?

Why dont we setup a museum of "transport" and ask them for it and spend our days sharing our ninja boat pootling around the Med
