Which of course should have read Hebrides.

Been silly light up here so spent the past 24 hours on the Isle of Harris.

Don't even THINK about going to Harris unless it's sunny (there is nothing at all to do - and the roads are crap)... but my God, when the sun comes out, it's photographic heaven.

Haven't sifted through the cards yet.. but first few that look decent here:

Some loverly snaps as usual. Certainly makes me feel like I want to jump on a plane and escape clients etc. (well, at least, when the weather's like that). Was there a price on the corrugated tin shack? Is there broadband available in the area? Could do with a holiday home.

Great pics as always steve.
You get to go to some real nice places. Do you travel around as a photographer as a career or something, Ive always wondered that.

Brian - nobody would pay me for that... unfortunately.

(I'm lucky to live in a pretty part of the UK, so when decent weather comes over *hmmm* I can get out to the decent sights pretty quick... i.e. high pressure over the Highlands in May = great light).

Very nice, it is good to be reminded of what the great ourdoors looks like when you are stuck in an office in London. Oh well, with a bit of luck I might be out and about in Wales this weekend.

Great Photos.

Tell you what, when my D70 arrives, I'll photograph door handles for you while you have a well-earned break on the Isle of Wotsit... owzat?

I'm just looking back over the Photography forum.

Blimey Mr Carter - you do take a nice photograph! I LOVE the rusty corrugated iron shed...the colours are so rich.

Smashing stuff.
