Sorry, this in no way warrants a new thread but wtf my 60D and 10-22 have arrived!

Good call! Slight hiccup in the weather up here and have also established that PSE8 wont convert the RAW files from a 60D so I've ordered PSE9 which is coming tomorrow (I know I could have used other converters but frankly I'm lazy and it needs to be simple for my wee brain).Am in Northumberland next week so am looking forward to a bonanza of snappery

Excuses, excuses. Nothing wrong with DPP for converting the output to TIFF (or whatever). Methinks there must be some other explanation for this reticence about displaying a sample of the real output compared some PS'd image taken via a mirror.
That said I'll be interested to hear about your opinion of the additional sensor resolution you have to play with. And all the other toys of course ...

The viewfinder is a big improvement over the 450, the screen is much sharper too. Not got much further than that tbh.

I had a dig around last night and I don't think you can do this (there are a few threads around on other sites if you Google on 60D raw conversion in PSE). In any event I've ordered PSE9 which does have a few extra features so it's a non-issue for me Just checked the website and it's there.

Good luck with the new camera, your shots have improved so much over the last year, and this new one should make even more difference.
I reckon I'm about a year behind you in experience. Have looked at the 60D, but think I need to learn more with the 500D before making the move.
