The wonders of photoshop...

I made a few videos of before/after shots as I thought a few people might find it interesting to see how much work has gone into it

That's really interesting. How to you manage to boost the exposure/brightness so much without losing detail and introducing loads of noise? It is because that are all shot in RAW?

I did cheat a little with the Gallardo shots in the first video as the first one had another exposure at a slightly different angle which gave the nice lighting on the car (although it was still too dark) and the second one I added flash. I also used flash in the Rolls Royce shot.

Where was that first white 911 photo taken (on the first video)? It reminds me of Honister Pass in the Lake District.

Quite heartening to see the difference between shots I take and the photos you see in mags/posters etc can sometimes just be talented photoshop twiddling! Still nice shots anyway.

Great vids. It would be interesting if you ever get chance to maybe do some basic screen recordings of the main steps you do, more like a tutorial in 10 steps perhaps, using software like hypercam. I for one would be really interested to see it, I'm fairly competent with a camera and always considered myself alright with Photoshop but I'm sure there are plenty of tricks I'm clueless about. Wouldn't know where to start to get the same quality results you do!

Funny how people get so excited about PP. It's only a better, digital version of what pros did before with film. Just took a lot longer, was more expensive, no 'undo's and generally required training to achieve good results.

I thought I was a dab hand at PS! You're very good at recovering shots I might have just left for dead.

The adjustable suspension on the F40 wasn't working at the time (now fixed) and was stuck on the highest setting.

It's worth noting that these examples used in my video are at the extreme end of the amount of photoshop used in my images. It would be a bit boring if it was very small changes!
