Who's been thinking about heading into town to get some snaps of the chaos? I wonder whether it will still be going on tomorrow evening? I'd be tempted to go in but have some obvious concerns.

been watching the news (work has blocked flickr so most threads are a load of red x's) all day and there have been a few ppl that have their camera's taken from them some with force, i thought about going but after hearing what i have, i think ill pass

Student riots where you're on their side as far as the crowd is concerned, yes. This is completely different, I'd not go anywhere near it; camera or no camera.

I'm about two miles south of Reeves Corner, bought our first bed from there.

I did yesterday. Not in to Croydon, but I drove to Enfield to check out the Sony distribution fire. Really difficult to get a good shot because police are being very strict, as they should be.
