Compact Camera problem

I have a cheap Fuji AX250 point and shoot camera, Recently there's a bit of a odd problem with it, on start up everything is blurred, then once restarted everything is fine, it only seems to happen if the camera has been off for a while say a day then it is blurry, then on and off and fully back to normal.

is their any way to sort this, I have cleaned the lens with a cotton bud and it has reduced the frequency of when it happens. Before it happened It was stuck off with the lens open for about 3 days if this affects anything (battery run out, I had none spare).

My guess is that there is a dodgy connection in the lens mechanism or, possibly, the mechanism is sticking for a while then freeing. Lots of tiny plastic parts and microscopic wires in there usually. The chances are it will stop working completely at some point. We have had a couple like that. Fortunately one of them was till under warranty and was fixed very quickly. Loose wire apparently.
