Does anyone know of one of the above please?

We've done a few sessions with companies where we have won a session and free snap. They take up a lot of time and we have struggled to justify paying for the photos, because they have simply not been worth the money. The latest one has been equally poor and there is no real prospect of us buying photos (I am almost tempted to decline the free one!). Out of maybe 400 shots they managed to get six OK ones and two that are acceptable.

We're quite happy to pay for a shoot and a reasonable sum for prints or for the disc, but we are wary because of the generally poor standard we've seen from the snappers we've used.

So, does anyone know of anyone who is likely to give us a good expereience please?

I don't know what I need to pay to be honest. We want a nice family photo and maybe a couple of the kids. What should I expect to pay?

I am also wondering whether I should use it as an opportunity to get a professional photo done (i.e. one of me I can use when I need one for business purposes).

I am not looking at throwing four figures at this.
