OK, it's me - well spotted zetec (curse you!) but I'd still be interested to get any feedback, either good or 'constructive'. NB All shots were taken with the Mju300.

It is just that I like that shot alot, such a simple subject but a great effect. As soon as I saw it I knew it was yours.

No worries; it's surprising how quickly you get 'known' in the interweb thing.
The effect is actually very easy: you just need a suitable subject in sunlight and find an angle where the background is in dark shadow. Sometimes just exposing for the subject is enough to make the b/g black, sometimes fill-in flash does the trick.
The Mju300 isn't perfect by any means and sometimes goofs on focus, exposure or flash - but when it gets it right it still makes me grin!
