Sort of!
As well as a very amateur photographer i am a very keen mountain biker as well. I was out at a riding spot a couple of months ago using off camera flash for the first ever time and managed to get a few decent pics from the day.
My mate in the photo sent one away to a popular mountain bike magazine and they have just printed it as their readers photo of the month and received a spanking new £80 helmet which i am rather chuffed about. No other reason for the post apart from i am over the moon!

Nice shot!
Do you usually take the camera mountain biking? I'm getting back into it after about 14 years and I'm scared to take the camera incase I scatter it during the inevitable off.
Thanks for all the comments guys. Much appreciated!Do you usually take the camera mountain biking? I'm getting back into it after about 14 years and I'm scared to take the camera incase I scatter it during the inevitable off.

No i don't normally take the camera all the time and only to ride to a photo spot when i do. Only when i have the intention to ride in the morning and take photo's in the afternoon. This day i was forced to stop biking by this very bizarre crash in the end of this video....

which stopped the day's riding for me!!! (still have scars from the handlebars being bent my ribcage!!)
