Whats is it and whats it worth?

Hey, need some expert advice.
We're clearing my late uncle's loft and have come across this:



So wondering what it is - model number etc. and a guide as to how much it might be worth.

From the look of it I would suggest a lens for the XL1 camcorder.

Thanks - surprised that only went for £50 odd. Seems like alot of tech for not very much money?

I'm amazed how little XL1 and 2S go for on ebay - I had a couple at work and they were pretty good actually. I suppose the fact they are only SD has killed them.
